A Note from Jay

Hi, I’m Jay Lu, founder of DAUAOTO.

When I was furnishing my own bedroom, I kept finding the same choice: neutral bedding that was easy to match but felt forgettable, or decorative designs that looked striking in photos but were difficult to live with every day.

I wanted something between those two extremes—bedding with character, without visual noise; thoughtful details, without excess; comfort and quality without an inflated price.

That idea became DAUAOTO.

I started the brand with a simple belief: bedding should do more than cover a bed. It should bring the room together, reflect the person who lives there, and still feel right long after the first impression has passed.

That belief continues to guide every fabric, print, color, and finish we choose.

Two Ways to Make a Bedroom Your Own

Some bedrooms come alive through color and pattern. Others through natural texture and quieter details.

Our cotton print collections are designed to give a room personality while remaining balanced and easy to style. We consider how each motif repeats across the full bed, how the colors work together, and how the design feels within the room as a whole.

Our cotton-linen collections take a more tactile approach, with relaxed drape, visible natural texture, and carefully chosen craft details.

Different in expression, both are made with the same purpose: to create bedding that feels distinctive, comfortable, and personal.

Made for Real Life

We design for real bedrooms—not perfect showrooms.

That means looking beyond the product photo. We consider how the fabric feels, how the bedding settles across the bed, how the construction performs over time, and whether every detail earns its place.

Nothing is added simply to make a product sound more luxurious. Every print, texture, closure, tie, edge, and finish should improve comfort, function, or visual balance.

By working directly with trusted manufacturing partners and selling online, we reduce unnecessary retail layers and keep more attention on the product itself.
